Each orange, clear extended-release capsule, imprinted “ADDERALL XR” on one end and “20 mg” on the other, contains 20 mg of mixed amphetamine salts. Starch, ethyl citrate, methacrylic acid copolymer, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, beige opadry, yellow iron oxide, red iron oxide, sugar spheres, and talc; gelatin capsule: titanium dioxide, edible ink and kosher gelatine.

How should Adderall 20mg be used?
The usual starting dose is 10 mg taken once a day in the morning. The initial dose is usually low and then gradually increased. The dose of Adderall 20mg should be personalized according to the needs of the person for whom it was prescribed. Doses above 20 mg daily are not recommended.

Do not use this medicine in the following circumstances:

heart condition
agitation;
are allergic to mixed-dose amphetamine extended-release salts or to any of the ingredients of the medication
is allergic or hypersensitive to a group of medications known as sympathomimetics (eg, pseudoephedrine, epinephrine, norepinephrine)
a history of drug abuse;
hardening of the arteries at an advanced stage;
glaucoma (a rise in pressure in the eye)
hyper functioning of the thyroid gland;
moderately to severely high blood pressure
treatment with an inhibitor of monoamine oxidase (eg phenelzine, tranylcypromine) or taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor within 14 days.
What are the possible side effects of this medicine?
